“Absolute Power” by David Baldacci is an oldie, but a goodie. If you’re into political thrillers, you’re sure to love this fast moving, intense drama set in Washington DC.

Baldacci has written many good suspense novels, but this is one of my favorites. The characters are intriguing and include a thief, the President of the United States, a defense lawyer and several members of the Secret Service. You will quickly get caught up in the story and not want to put this down!

If you like Baldacci, you’ll also like John Grisham, Nelson DeMille and Ken Follet.
