Feeling lost? Get on “The Path”

March 25th, 2008 by Biblioholic

If you’re one of those people (and who isn’t) that’s trying to figure out what they should be doing with their lives, go get “The Path” by Laurie Beth Jones. While other books tell you to develop a mission statement, Ms. Jones tells you step by step how to do it. Some of the exercises may seem weird at first, but well worth it.This is a Christian book, but the advice is solid and should apply regardless of your religious preferences. Her ideas about mission statements is that they need to be short, understandable by an 11 year old and repeatable at gunpoint (what a great word picture!). You’ll find yourself really narrowing down what you want to accomplish in your life.

Other books to consider would be “48 Days to the Work You Love” by Dan Smith.
